The Old Curates House, Fox Lane, Bramdean. This photograph shows The Old Curates House in about 1910?, the current house is one singular residence but at one time was divided into individual properties. Originally called Mead Place, later Mead Court, The Old Curates House is believed to have been, at one time a rest house for the Clergymen of Winchester Cathedral. The main part of the house dates from the eighteenth century but the part shown in the photograph (located at the southern end) is much older than than this.
