Original cover of a laundry book used by a customer of the Links Laundry. The laundry operated from the building which was previously the old Cricketer’s Inn on the corner of Sun Lane and Tichborne Down. The laundry was in operation from shortly after the Inn’s closure in 1911 until it’s own closure in 1969.
