Photographed here in the 1970’s sacks of grain can be seen being moved into the “Scats” corn/seed store. The store which was originally owned by “Collis & Potter” was built around the same time as the arrival of the railway in Alresford and dated as 1860. The portable office seen at the side of the store was replaced with a brick building shortly after this photograph was taken. The store itself now houses a fitness studio and the brick offices a cafe.
