Viewed from the bank which forms the present 11th tee looking towards what will become the 10th green. Charred remains, the only reminder of the old railway carriage clubhouse. Still standing next to the remains is the old corrugated tin roofed wooden hut, erected in the mid 1960’s, as the professional’s shop which was the domain of Bill Young, a great servant of AGC.                                                Image © Simon Newman
